I am making my Valentine these.
His favorite chocolate coconut cupcakes.
Some things only God can create.
Have you ever thought about the fact that the feeling of love...the emotion and reality of love was Gods design.
He CREATED the actual feeling...emotion of love!
I mean REALLY stop and think about it?
He created love and all of the joy and tears that surround it.
It is HIS masterpiece...HIS canvas to hang.
Have you ever looked at a painting and wondered what the artist mean by it?
What were they feeling... thinking... intending?
God gave us the answers to accompany his masterpiece....
"Love is patient love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand it's own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice in injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful,
and endures through every circumstance."
1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
I don't know about you but sometimes we (my husband and I) give each other mixed messages.
We mis-communicate love.
I think he meant something...he thought I meant something...we get angry...I promise it is not pretty.
Sometimes it is a "quiet passive" angry and sometimes we let loose and say everything we think..
ugly girls ugly.
We are working on it...always working on it...always will....
God as creator desires his creation to live into the LOVE- HE designed.
Our purpose is to learn it and live...sounds so simple...but we make it so hard.
Love simply...simply love.
(the great barrier reef...this is a real organic heart in the middle of the reef)
There is not one single person or group that could ever convince me that God/Jesus is not real.
I recognize his signature all over.
To know the artist....is to recognize the artist work.
We can all look at Monet and Rembrandt and distinguish their work.
They are distinct.
Jesus is distinct as well.
His character is simply loving....loving simply.
My valentine and I could row in this boat forever talking about all that Jesus has done for and in us.
I am grateful for this day that helps us celebrate Jesus and the fact that he saw it fit to allow us to experience love....seriously how loving is that!
It is funny for us to look back on our love story.
I am sure Monet or Rembrandt looked upon their first works of art and laughed.
How rich their art became as they practiced and committed to the craft, as they opened their hearts to their God given gifts. Celebrate today where you have come from and look forward to where you are going as a couple! The canvas only gets more valuable with age!
Don't let the sun set today without telling your valentine how much you love them.
I love being in love.
I am thankful that God thought of it...and decided to share it with us!
Happy Valentines Day friends!
We are back from our cruise...still feel like I am on a ship!
I have soooo many pictures...will share them as I get through them!
